St. Andrew’s School Shines at the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2025


St. Andrew’s School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its Secondary Section students in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2025 organised by the Royal Commonwealth Society, United Kingdom. Out of 33 participants, 28 students received awards, showcasing their remarkable talent and creativity.

In the Junior Category, four students won Silver Awards and seven students received Bronze awards. In the Senior Category, two students achieved Gold, five earned Silver, and ten received Bronze awards, demonstrating exceptional performance across all levels.

The competition, attracted a record 53,434 entries from 54 Commonwealth countries this year. The theme, ‘Our Commonwealth Journey,’ inspired young writers to reflect on personal experiences and shared heritage, and our students excelled at capturing these ideas.

This achievement reflects both the students’ dedication and the strong guidance of our teachers, reinforcing St. Andrew’s School’s commitment to nurturing confident, creative, and culturally aware writers.
