Mid-Autumn Festival 2025
From 29th September to 4th October, Mandarin Club students commemorated the Mid-Autumn Festival within the school premises during their designated Mandarin lessons. They acquired knowledge regarding the origins of the festival and the legend of Chang-E and her husband, Hou Yi. The Mid-Autumn Festival was incorporated into the Mandarin Club curriculum to foster cultural appreciation, language enhancement, and creative expression. Under the supervision of Mandarin teachers, the students engaged in assembling their own lanterns using DIY kits. Additionally, they brought mooncakes from home to share among their peers in the classroom. The students experienced the joy of sharing by offering mooncakes to the principal, deputy principals, teachers, and other administrative staff members. They found the educational experience of learning about this traditional festival rewarding and were eager to share their activities on that day with family and friends.
