St. Andrew’s School’s dedication to promoting Chinese Calligraphy

Students from St. Andrew’s School participated in the 2026 National On-The-Spot Spring Calligraphy Competition, organised by the New Chinese Calligraphy & Chinese Painting Cultural Society, Brunei Darussalam. The event featured categories for Primary and Secondary, Chinese and Non-Chinese groups, with students from Year 4 to Year 11. Ten students from the school received awards, and Mdm Ong Suk Ching, a teacher, secured a gold medal in the open category. The prize-giving ceremony took place on Sunday (March 1) at Dewan Indah Biru. Mdm Lisa Chan Miew Luang and Ms Low Choon Ein, the teachers in charge, played a key role in guiding the students. These achievements highlight the school’s strong dedication to promoting Chinese calligraphy.
