ST ANDREW’S School held a Teacher’s Day Celebration for the Secondary and Upper Primary Section.

The guest of honour was Jane Keasberry, the school principal.

Also present were the deputy principal, headmasters and headmistresses. teacher ..

“The theme of this year’s Teacher Day Celebration, ‘Teachers With Vision Generate Human Capital,’ relates with the school’s vision and mission, ‘To impact, transform lives, contribute positively to society through the promotion of quality holistic education with diverse learning opportunities to enable students to reach their full potentials.’

“Teachers’ day is not just one day celebration for teachers, but it should be on daily basis and even until we leave school. In this 21st Century, teaching is a very challenging profession. It is a noble profession as we serve not only to teach or instruct, but to facilitate, inspire, illuminate, empower and give hope, show the caring, affection, love and courage is approachable and many more.”

The event continued with the oath of teacher’s day, singing performance, group dance, piano solo’s performance, fashion parade, dance show and many more.
